Delete Export Files

Use Settings Export/Import to remove files from the grid. Only expired files can be deleted. When you delete an export record, you only remove the reference of that export from your system, and not the export that is on the WorkBook server. Once an export file is created, it cannot be deleted from the WorkBook server.

To use the Settings Export/Import submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To delete an export file:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Advanced Tools > Settings Export/Import.
  3. Click the Settings Export tab.
  4. Highlight an export file and click Delete Export on the grid toolbar.
  5. When prompted for confirmation, click Yes.
  6. To delete an archived file, select the Include archived exports check box from the grid toolbar.
  7. Highlight the archived export file and click Delete Export on the grid toolbar.
    Note: Only expired archived files can be deleted.
