Enable Override Option for Default User Settings

Use the Default User Settings submodule to enable the override option for default user settings.

To use the Default User Settings submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To enable the override option for a default user setting:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the default user setting that you want to enable the override option for.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Global System Settings > Default User Settings.
  4. Highlight the default user setting that you want to enable the override option for and select the Override user settings check box.
