Enable Retainer Jobs

Use the Project Settings option under the Jobs List submodule to enable retainer jobs.

To use the Jobs List submodule, you must have access to Jobs as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To enable a retainer job:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
  2. On the side toolbar, click Jobs List.
  3. Highlight the job associated with the client that you want to enable a retainer project for.
  4. Click Further options and select View project settings.
  5. In the Project Settings dialog box, click the Project Settings tab.
  6. Highlight the project that you want to enable as a retainer and click Enable/disable retainer job .
    WorkBook changes the ProjectRetainer symbol from Project to Project retainer .
  7. If you want to disable the retainer project, click Enable/disable retainer job again.
    WorkBook changes the ProjectRetainer symbol from Project retainer to Project .
