Link a Profile to a Resource

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can link multiple profiles to each resource in Resources. To do this, you must first create the profiles in Settings > Clients & Resources > Resource Profiles. Alternatively, you can link profiles to prospects and clients in CRM.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To link a profile to a resource:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the resource to which you want to link a profile by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select the resource type as your filter, and select the resource from the grid. For example, you can use Clients as the filter and then select the client name from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the resource information card.
  5. On the side toolbar of the resource information card, click Profile .
  6. Link profiles to the resource by completing any of the following actions:
    • To link a profile to the resource, click Add New Profile on the top toolbar of the resource information card.
    • To link all profiles in the system to the resource, click Add Missing Lines on the top toolbar of the resource information card.
  7. Use the columns in the resource information card grid to define each of the profiles that you linked to the resource.
