Manage Codes Tab
Use the Manage Code tab to create, edit, enable or disable, and delete codes.
Columns
| Column | Description |

| Code | This column displays the costing code.

Costing Code column:

| Description | This column displays the code description, if provided.

| Active | This column indicates if the code is active or inactive. |
| Level | This column indicates the level type. |
| Parent | This column displays the level 1 code that is associated with a level 2 (child) code. The cell is blank for level 1 codes. |
| Allow use on tasks | This column indicates whether the code is enabled for use on tasks. |
| Last change by | This column displays the name of the resource that made the most recent change to a code. |
| Last changed | This column displays the date when the last update was made. |
Create New Costing Code Dialog Box
| Field | Description |

| Code | Enter a code. The code must be unique and can be composed of alphanumeric characters, underscores, and dashes. |
| Description | Enter a description. |
| Level | Select a level type. This drop-down list displays the WorkBook-defined level types:

| Use | Select the element or elements on which the code can be used. This field is present only if you selected Level 1 in the Level field. |
| Parent | Select a parent code. This drop-down list displays the user-supplied parent codes. This field is present only if you selected Level 2 in the Level field. |
