Merge Prospect or Client Contacts

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can merge two prospect/client contacts into one regardless of their statuses. This process deactivates one of the contacts.

Note: You must have permission to add prospects and clients to WorkBook, as well as modify prospect- and client-related information and activities, to complete this task.

To merge prospect/client contacts:

  1. Display the prospect card. See Display the Prospect Card.
  2. On the side toolbar of the prospect card, click Contacts .
  3. On the top toolbar of the prospect card, select Show Inactive to display both active and inactive contacts.
  4. Select the contact that you want to merge with another contact and click Merge Contacts on the top toolbar of the prospect card.
  5. In the Merge Contact to Another Contact dialog box, select the contact that you want to merge with the first contact.
  6. Click OK.
