Prevent a Resource Contact from Creating Client Jobs Using Client Settings

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can use the Contact Access Dialog box in Client Settings in Resources to prevent contacts from creating jobs for clients. Alternatively, you can complete this task using the contact card. .

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To prevent a resource contact from creating jobs for clients using Client Settings:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the client associated with the contact whose job access you want to revoke:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Clients as your filter, and select the client from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information /.
  5. On the side toolbar of the resource information card, click Client Settings > Client Job Access .
  6. Select a contact and click Delete Selected on the top toolbar of the resource information card.
