System Variable 641: SMTP Port Number

Use this System Variable to set the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) port number that WorkBook uses to receive SMTP communication.

Before you configure System Variable 641, ensure that System Variable 1148 is enabled.

You can use any of the following:

• 25: Typically used by most applications
• 587: Supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS)

The default value for this setting is 25.
