System Variable 714: Allow 0 (Zero) Amount Posting Journals

Use this System Variable to determine if empty journals should be allowed.

This System Variable is disabled by default. When it is enabled, journals can be empty. This is useful when trying to finish project postings for items that have no postings associated with them, such as job closures of non-billable jobs. If this System Variable is disabled, users encounter the following message when trying to approve an empty journal or trying to process a project posting entry that would give an empty journal:

The journal entry is empty

It may be necessary to perform a refresh when modifying System Variable values.
