View Conversations That a Resource Contact is On

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can view the conversations that contacts are on in Resources. Alternatively, you can view the conversations that prospect and client contacts are on in CRM.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To view the conversations that a resource contact is on:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the resource associated with the contact whose conversations you want to view by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select the resource type as your filter, and select the resource from the grid. For example, you can use Clients as the filter and then select the client name from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information /.
  5. On the side toolbar of the resource information card, click Contacts .
  6. Click the initials of the contact to display the contact card or click Toggle Resource Card on the top toolbar of the resource information card.
  7. On the side toolbar of the contact card, click Resource-related Items .
  8. On the top toolbar of the contact card, click the View Conversations This Resource is On tab.
  9. To view conversations that you started where the selected contact is also a participant, select User is Author.
  10. Click the conversation that you want to view.
  11. To join a conversation, use the Comment field in the right pane of the contact card.
    • Public: the conversation is visible to all companies in WorkBook and their employees.
    • Private: the conversation is visible only to the selected company and its employees.
