Consultant Accruals and QuickBooks Integration

Enter and post consultant accruals in DPS.

In the DPS desktop application, you create consultant accruals in PSA > Consultant Accruals.

You post the journal entries for them in DPS Transaction Center > Transaction Posting.

After you create and post the journal entries in DPS, the journal entries are added to QuickBooks Online the next time that the automatic or manual updating occurs between DPS and QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks Online, you see the DPS journal entries in the following locations:

  • Reports > Accountant Reports > Journal
  • Accounting > Chart of Accounts
  • Search (magnifying glass icon in the toolbar) > Advanced Search: In the transactions search field, select Journal Entries

Note: The help topics direct you to the Consultant Accruals application in Accounting > Consultant Accruals. However, when you use the PSA module and QuickBooks integration, you will not see Accounting in the Navigation pane. Instead, you see PSA.
