Plan Settings

Use the Plan Settings dialog box to configure the settings related to the selected project. This dialog box automatically displays when you create a new Navigator plan or you convert a Vision plan to a Navigator plan.

The Plan Settings options that display are specific for each area of Project Management that you can access. For example, if you can access the Labor and Expenses areas, you can define the plan settings for both.

Plan settings only apply to Navigator plans and are not available when you view a Vision plan within Navigator. When you create a new plan in Navigator, the settings default from Vision's Plan Settings in Configuration > Planning. If you use Vision Multicompany, the settings default from Vision's Plan Settings from the project's company.

The Plan Settings dialog box is available when:
  • The current project has a Navigator plan.
  • You have Full, Add/Modify, or Modify Only access rights on the Navigator tab in Vision > Configuration > Security > Roles for the plan. The fields that display on this dialog box, and your ability to modify them, is based on these access rights.
  • You have record level update rights to the plan.

It is important to note that the settings you select for the project in Navigator Plan Settings overrides any settings that were established in Vision.
