Enable a Resource Contact to Access Job Teams

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can grant resource contacts access to job teams in Resources.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To enable a resource contact to access job teams:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the resource associated with the contact that you want to give job team access to by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select the resource type as your filter, and select the resource from the grid. For example, you can use Clients as the filter and then select the client name from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information /.
  5. On the side toolbar of the resource information card, click Contacts .
  6. Click the initials of the contact to display the contact card or click Toggle Resource Card on the top toolbar of the resource information card.
  7. On the side toolbar of the contact card, click Contact Access .
  8. Click the Job Team Access tab.
  9. On the top toolbar of the contact card, click Add Job Team Access to display the Search Job dialog box where you can choose the job team that the contact will have access to.
    Alternatively, you can enter a job number in the Add Job Team Access field on the top toolbar of the contact card and press Enter on your keyboard.
  10. To remove a contact's job team access, clear the check box in the Has Access column for that contact.
    Alternatively, you can select the job team from the grid and click Remove Job Team Access on the top toolbar of the contact card.
