Mark Task as Done for an Employee

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can mark employees as done on the tasks assigned to them In Resources.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
Note: To mark a resource as done on a task, use the job card in Jobs.

To mark an employee as done on a task:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the employee that you want to mark as done on a task by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the employee card.
  5. On the side toolbar of the employee card, click Tasks .
  6. Click the Grid View tab .
  7. Click on the top toolbar of the employee card, then click View Schedule on a Subpage.
  8. In the top grid, select a job.
  9. In the middle grid, select the task for which you want to mark the selected employee as done.
  10. On the top toolbar of the top grid, click Mark User as Done .
  11. If there are multiple employees assigned to the task, use the Done column in the bottom grid to mark specific employees as done.
    Alternatively, you can use Set Selected Resources as Done on the toolbar of the bottom grid.
