Merge Clients

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can merge clients in the main grid in Resources. You cannot merge a client with active subscriptions with another client.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To merge clients:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. Select the client that you want to merge with another client by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the client, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Clients as your filter, and select the client from the grid.
  3. On the grid toolbar, click the grid options menu , then click Merge Clients.
  4. In the Merge Clients dialog box, select the client that you want to merge with the client you selected in step 2.
  5. Click OK.
    If the merging is successful, WorkBook will disable the client you selected in step 2 and retain the client you selected in step 4.
