System Variables (Notifications)

Use the information in this section to enable or disable System Variables that relate to notifications.

System Variable 653: System warning send email notification to this email address	This variable enables you to specify an email address that WorkBook uses as the sender of system warning emails if such an incident occurs.
System Variable 772: Follow-up notification send by	This variable enables you to select a user that is used as the sender of WorkBook-generated notifications.
System Variable 774: Enable monthly WIP adjustment notification to Project Manager on job	If this variable is enabled, WorkBook notifies the Project Manager on the job about WIP adjustment updates.
System Variable 778: Ongoing monthly job value adjustment notification (WIP). Minimum trigger amount in company currency	This variable enables you to set a trigger amount before WorkBook notifies the relevant user.
System Variable 786: WIP notification: Set WIP calculation proposal to "0" zero if the job has status 0 "Quotation"	If this variable is enabled, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met.
System Variable 794: Number of days the Missing time sheet notification should check back in time	This variable enables you to define the number of days WorkBook checks back in time for any incomplete time sheets. Note: If you do not want WorkBook to perform this check, set the value to 0.
System Variable 805: Ongoing monthly job value adjustment notification for WIP: delay in days after month end date	If a value is specified, this variable notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met.
System Variable 824: Raise a notification to the user set as the Project Manager on a job	If this variable is enabled, WorkBook notifies users if they have been set up as the Project Manager on a new job, or if the existing Project Manager is changed.
System Variable 825: Notify job Project Manager if a Portal user has created a new job where this user is set as the Project Manager	If an option is selected for this variable, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met.
System Variable 883: Payment plan notification: Add a notification to the job conversation NN days before an invoice must be sent	If a value is specified for this variable, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met. Sample: "According to the payment plan an invoice must be issued on February 18th. Invoice on account - amount 50.000,00" Note: If you want WorkBook to do nothing, leave this System Variable blank.
System Variable 890: Automatically include Production Manager in comments	If this variable is enabled, WorkBook sends a notification to the Production Manager role (if this role is enabled) set on the job. This notification includes important changes (see System Variable 814).
System Variable 900: Notification about a new conversation comment, email sender address	This variable enables you to specify an email address that notifies users about new conversation comments. Note: If this value is not set, WorkBook uses System Variable 289.
System Variable 938: Notify specific users when a new job is created	This variable enables you to specify users to be notified whenever a job is created.
System Variable 945: Enable notification type 160 Calendar appointments	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if a calendar appointment is created.
System Variable 948: Raise a notification when a new client is created	This setting enables you to select who to notify when a client is created.
System Variable 951: Raise a notification to users on system updates	This setting enables you to select the condition (type of user) by whom the job Project Manager is notified when a job is created.
System Variable 960: Raise a notification to users on system updates	This setting creates a simple notification that indicates the version number and update date to the user group specified.
System Variable 1042: Send an absence notification to your own user and the entry user when an absence entry is approve	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the user and other users about the absence entry approval. Note: To add specific notification recipients, enable other absence entry system settings. See System Variables 1126, 1127, and 1128.
System Variable 1049: Calendar synchronization: default reminder time (set in minutes)	This setting enables you to set a notification reminder (in minutes) sent to a user before the start of a task.
System Variable 1115: Notification "172 - Expenditure hours exceeds price quote hours on a retainer project" trigger percentage	If a value is specified for this variable, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met. Note: Setting the value to 0% disables the notification.
System Variable 1122: Raise a notification to the client account manager when the price quote is approved internally	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the user set as the client account manager when a price quote is approved internally.
System Variable 1126: Absence entry: Employee manager will receive absence notification for absent employees	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the employee manager about absent employees. Note: This setting requires System Variable 1042 to be enabled.
System Variable 1127: Absence entry: Traffic manager will receive absence notification for absent employees	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the traffic manager about absent employees. Note: This setting requires System Variable 1042 to be enabled.
System Variable 1128: Absence entry: Time sheet approver will receive absence notification for absent employees	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the time sheet approver about absent employees. Note: This setting requires System Variable 1042 to be enabled.
System Variable 1133: Allow time entries that have been added with a future date to trigger the time entry approval notification and follow-up	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook notifies the relevant user if the described condition is met.
System Variable 1138: Task notification: Automatically include job Project Manager in task conversation comments.	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook includes the job Project Manager in task conversation comments. Note: This setting requires System Variable 814 to be enabled, and only applies to comments that are based on task changes.
System Variable 1153: Add notification upon debtor/creditor creation	If values are specified for this setting, WorkBook notifies the resources that are specified when debtors or creditors are created.
System Variable 1160: Disable notifications from System Variable 998	If this setting is enabled, WorkBook disables notifications that are associated with System Variable 998. Note: There is no other way to disable these notifications, except for setting System Variable 998 to 1 (Disable billing workflow).
System Variable 1161: Notify users when a system setting changes	This setting sends the specified users a notification if a system setting changes. Note: Administrators and Company responsible always receive notifications about system changes.
System Variable 1177: Allow use of the WIP - "Raise notification" button	If enabled, this setting enables the use of the Raise Notification button in Finance & Administration > Monthly WIP Adjustments.
