Getting Started
There are several basic features that are used throughout the Navigator application.
- Starting Navigator and Logging In
The Navigator Login dialog box displays when you start Navigator. - Navigator Toolbar
The Navigator toolbar provides access to global options and settings that impact the Navigator application. Some of these options include drop-down menus where you can make further selections; other options perform a function related to the application. The options and menus that display on the toolbar depend on the Vision Security access rights assigned to your role by your system administrator. - Workspace Options
Navigator uses workspaces to organize your information. For example, timesheet and expense report information is located within the Employee workspace, while the contract, labor, expense, consultant, and invoice information is located in the Project Management workspace. - Setting Options Overview
Use the Options menu to check in plans, access the change password dialog box, select date and color formats for Navigator, and view usage statistics. - Tooltips and Indicators Overview
Navigator includes tooltips and warning indicators that help you use the application more efficiently and effectively. You can also use the Help indicator to display online help directly from the dialog boxes and charts in Navigator. - Enter or Update Data Using an iOS Tablet Device
When you access Navigator on a tablet device, the appearance is much the same as on a laptop computer. However, primarily because of the absence of a mouse, how you interact with Navigator on a tablet device differs from how you interact with it on a laptop computer. - Navigator Demonstration Videos
