Create One-on-One Conversations on a Task

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can have one-on-one task conversations with employees in Resources. All one-on-one conversations are private - only you and the employee that you are having the conversation with have access to the conversation. You can also view your one-on-one conversations in Inbox.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To create a one-on-one conversation on a task:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the employee that you want to have a one-on-one conversation with by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information / to display the employee card.
  5. On the side toolbar of the employee card, click 1:1 Conversations .
  6. Use the Comment field to start or reply to a conversation and click Private.
  7. To view the conversation in your Inbox, position your mouse pointer over the right margin of the conversation pane and click Get Deep Link to This Comment .
  8. To edit your comment, position your mouse pointer over the right margin of the conversation pane and click Edit Comment .
