View or Update an Employee's Client-Access Settings

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can view or modify the client-access settings for employees in Resources. You can also copy the client-access settings from one employee to another.

Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.

To view or update an employee's client-access settings:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Resources .
  2. On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon , select Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the employee whose client-access settings you want to view or modify by completing any of the following actions:
    • In the Search in Grid field, enter the name of the employee, then select it from the grid.
    • Click the Filter field next to the Search in Grid field, select Employees as your filter, and select the employee from the grid.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Resource Information /. to display the employee card
  5. On the side toolbar of the employee card, click Settings > Client-Access Settings.
  6. Select the client that the employee will have access to.
  7. To copy the client-access settings from another employee to the selected employee, click Copy Client/Job Access From Another Employee on the top toolbar of the employee card.
