Payroll Labor Detail General Tab

Use the General tab to select report options for the Payroll Labor Detail report and to save sets of options for reuse.

Field Description
Report Name You can change the default report name.
Time Frame Specify the period for the report:

Period

Select a setting from the drop-down list:

  • Current — The report shows data for the accounting period that is currently open.

  • Year-to-date — The report shows data for the current fiscal year through the current accounting period.

  • Job-to-date — The report shows data from the beginning of the project through the current accounting period.

Period Range

Specify a range of accounting periods. You can select accounting periods from the drop-down lists, or you can enter them in mm/yyyy format.

If you do not specify a starting period, the report includes all data through the ending period.

Date Range

Enter the start and end dates of the range, or click the calendar icons and select the dates.

Employee Page Break Select this check box to insert a page break before each employee's data.
Print Comments Select this check box to include timesheet comments. The expanded text content will appear when this option is selected.
Select Payroll Posting Runs Button To generate the report for selected payroll posting runs, click the Select Payroll Posting Runs button.

The Payroll Posting Logs dialog box lists all payroll posting runs for the reporting period you specified in Time Frame. Do one of the following

  • To select one posting run, click that row.

  • To select multiple posting runs in consecutive rows, hold down the Shift key, and click the first and last row in the group.

  • To select multiple posting runs in rows that are not consecutive, hold down the Ctrl key, and click each row.

Print Final Totals Select this check box to include a line at the end of the report that displays report totals for all amount columns.
Print Unpaid Hours Select this check box to display hours reported on timesheets but not yet paid. Vision marks report lines for unpaid hours with U.
Print Paid Hours Select this check box to display all hours for which employees have been paid.
Consolidate Phases Select this check box to summarize all phase information for the currently selected project.
Consolidate Tasks Select this check box to summarize all task information for the currently selected project.
Project Lookup To include labor detail only for selected projects, click to display the Project Lookup dialog box, and select the projects.
